Opening November 24 — join the waitlist Built by a crocheter who was tired of a notebook and four apps

Every tool you reach for, in one place.

What yarn you already own. Which row you were on. How much a blanket will take. The chart, the counter, the shopping list — all in one app that works when the signal doesn’t, and remembers where you left off.

Waitlist members get 2 months of full access, free at launch. US only for now.

Your yarn, your rows, your charts. I’ll keep track of all of it.
The everyday stuff

Everything you’re already juggling, in one place.

Most of this lives on scraps of paper, in your camera roll, and in your head. It works better together.

Your yarn stash

Photograph the label and it fills in the brand, weight and yardage for you. Then you can actually answer “do I have enough of this?” from the shop.

scan the label

Shopping list

Add what a pattern needs in one tap, then check it off in the aisle. It keeps working with no signal, and catches up when you’re home.

works offline

On the hook

Row counters that don’t reset when the phone sleeps, and a quiet timer that tells you how long a project really took.

screen stays awake

Project journal

What you made, who it was for, and exactly which yarn went into it — so next time you can make it again without guessing.

made for whom

Pattern tracker

Tap a row when you finish it. Put the phone down for three weeks, pick it up on a plane with no signal, and it still knows exactly where you were.

Charts & PDF

Charts that read like a map instead of a wall of abbreviations — and a clean printable copy when you’d rather have paper beside you.

The bit you won’t find elsewhere

Worth keeping it for.

The tools that do the hardest part for you.

Turn a photo into a blanket

Point it at a photo — a dog, a sunset, a grandchild — and it works out the grid, matches every color to yarn you can actually buy, and tells you how many skeins of each. Then it counts out your blanket row by row — or round by round — and ticks each one off as you go.

The photo never leaves your phone.

colors matched to real yarn

Sketch a shape, get the pattern

Draw the outline of a ball, a bowl, a gnome — and the round-by-round instructions write themselves from your own gauge. Watch it turn in 3D as you go, in single, half double or double crochet, and export a print file if you want a stand for it.

Or type your rows in and let it check the math.

it does the counting

Make a blanket in squares

Too big to work in one piece? Split a photo blanket into squares that each carry their part of the picture, crochet them one at a time, then join them into the whole image.

Every square keeps its own place inside one project.

square by square
Both hands welcome

Crochet the way your hands do.

Left-handed crocheters usually get left over — squinting at a right-handed diagram and flipping it in their head. Not here. Every lesson illustration and pattern chart mirrors for you, so what you see is exactly what you make.

Coming next

Stitch School is on its way.

Crochet Bobble started as a way to teach my family to crochet, and that half is still coming — guided lessons that end in real stitches, where every level you finish leaves you a square, and the squares become a blanket. See what’s coming, and join that list →

Waitlist perk

Join now, get 2 months free.

Everyone who joins the waitlist gets 2 months of full access, free when we open on November 24 — the whole pattern library, tracker, and charts.

When your 2 months are up, keep the founder price of $7.99/mo for as long as you stay — or take Lifetime for $89 (reg. $119) instead.

Three things to know: Crochet Bobble is for people in the United States for now, sign up with this same email address when the app opens — that’s how we’ll know you’re a founding member — and claim it by December 31, 2026.

Outside the United States?

Crochet Bobble is only open in the US for now. Leave your email and I’ll tell you when it opens where you live.

Learn to crochet by making one blanket.

The lessons half of Crochet Bobble. Real lessons that end in real stitches — every level you finish leaves you a square, and at the end they join into the blanket you learned on. Your progress is fabric, not videos watched.

The path

Learning that actually builds.

Every skill sits on the one before it — so you're never staring at a pattern wondering where to even begin.

1

Master the foundations

The free Foundations lessons take you from holding the hook to your first neat rows. Watch, try, repeat — at your own pace, with Bobble cheering you on.

2

Unlock real patterns

As your skills grow, the pattern library opens up. Follow along row by row, with charts that read like a map instead of a wall of abbreviations.

3

Keep the momentum

Daily streaks and badges make it a habit. Small stitches, most days, quietly add up to finished things you're proud of.

Real things, from day one

What you'll actually make.

This isn't stitches for the sake of stitches. Every skill points at something you can hold, wear, or give away.

A washcloth

Your very first finished thing — flat, forgiving, and genuinely useful.

first project

A cozy scarf

Rows, rhythm, repeat. The most relaxing thing you'll do all week.

Granny squares

The iconic motif — worked in the round, then joined into anything.

in the round

A beanie

Crochet in the round and end the weekend with something you can wear.

wearable

An amigurumi buddy

Little stuffed friends — the most giftable thing you'll ever hook.

The Square Journey

Every level you finish leaves you a square — ribbed, bobbled, laced, yours. Any colors work; the border makes them family. At the end they join into the blanket you learned on.

A separate list, just for Stitch School — so you hear about the lessons and nothing else. The toolbox opens November 24. Both are US only for now.

What's inside

Every tool you reach for, in one app.

Keep your yarn straight, design your own blankets and shapes, keep your place in every row, and see how far you’ve come — on your phone or your laptop. The lessons are on their way too.

Free

Free with an account.

Everything in this half works on a free account — no card, and no trial clock.

Your yarn and colors

Your yarn stash

A photo of every yarn, with its weight, fiber, yardage and dye lot. Weigh a leftover ball on a kitchen scale and it works out how many yards are left.

free

It reads the label for you

Photograph a flat ball band and it fills in what it can read — weight, yardage, fiber, dye lot. On Android, scan the barcode and a yarn you’ve bought before comes straight back.

free

Shopping list

Add a pattern’s materials in one tap, tick them off in the store even with no signal, and move what you bought straight into your stash.

free

Colors from a photo

Pull the palette out of any photo — a sunset, a nursery wall, a favorite mug — and match each color to yarn in your stash or yarn you can buy.

free

Gift care tags

Print a sheet of four care tags, filled in from the yarn’s fiber and editable line by line.

free

Caring for what you made

What each fiber needs in the wash, and what every care symbol on a label means.

free
Every make

A counter for anything

A row counter and named repeat counters for whatever’s on your hook, not only patterns from the app.

free

Stitching timer

A timer that follows you around the app, adds the time to the project you’re making, and keeps your screen awake where your browser allows.

free

A journal of your makes

Everything you finish becomes a dated journal, with who each one was made for.

free

Share cards

Turn a finished make, a work in progress or a badge into a picture you can share straight from your phone.

free

Weekly goals, your way

Set a goal in days a week, plus minutes or stitches if you like, and pick the day your week starts. One missed week a month won’t break your run.

free

Badges, and Bobble’s closet

More than 70 badges to earn, and 15 outfits Bobble wins as you stitch — from a cardigan for four goal-met weeks in a row to an Aran sweater for a year.

free
Look it up

Stitch reference

More than 60 chart symbols with a page for each stitch, plus abbreviations, hook sizes, yarn weights, turning chains and a guide to reading charts.

free

Your gauge, your sizes

Log your own gauge swatches, and once two match, size estimates use your tension instead of a published average.

free

Wraps per inch

Wrap a yarn that’s lost its label around a ruler, count the wraps, and see every weight it could be.

free
Made for you

Left-handed, all the way

Stitch photos, videos and pattern charts mirror to match you, and blanket trackers give every row in left-handed order so the finished blanket matches the picture.

free

Works with no signal

Install it to your home screen and it opens without signal. Rows you tick and shopping-list check-offs made offline sync when you’re back.

free

On every device

One login shows the same projects, blankets and stash on your phone, tablet or laptop — and it backs up your work on its own.

free

Gentle reminders

Opt in for a morning note, an evening nudge only when tonight matters for your weekly goal, and a weekly recap. On iPhone, they come through the home-screen app.

free

Your units, your terms

Inches or centimeters throughout, and US or UK stitch names shown first in the reference.

Design your own

Turn a photo into a blanket

Pick a photo and choose a square, corner-to-corner, filet, round, oval or round-to-square blanket, in single crochet or half double (or bobbles on a square). It matches every color to real yarn, tells you how many skeins, and writes it out row by row or round by round. Already have a chart on graph paper? Photograph that instead and tick “this is already a grid” — it finds the lines, shows you the grid it read so you can correct the square count, then takes one color per square.

members

Paint it, stamp it, name it

Paint the chart by hand, fill whole areas, pick a color back up, undo, and merge two colors into one. Add ready-drawn stamps and letters — on a round blanket, a name curves around the edge.

members

Make a blanket in squares

Too big to work in one piece? Split a photo blanket into squares that each carry their part of the picture, crochet them one at a time, then join them into the whole image.

members

Bobbins, worked out

Where a color turns up in two places too far apart to carry, it gives each place its own bobbin and tells you how much to wind on it, in yards and grams.

members

Finished size, before you start

Pick your hook and see how big the blanket will come out, border included — using your own gauge once you’ve logged a couple of swatches.

members

Every blanket as a PDF

Download any blanket you’ve made as a PDF, with its chart and every row written out, to print or keep.

members

Design your own shape

Sketch your own idea, or start from a ball, egg, bowl, cone hat, basket or snowman, and it works out the increase and decrease math for each round in single, half double or double crochet, with a live 3D view and a 3D-print file. No AI, just the math. Or type your own rows and it checks each line’s math.

members

Chart your own pattern

Place standard stitch symbols on a chart, worked in rounds or rows, and it drafts the written instructions from your chart for you to read over and edit. Download it as a written PDF and a chart PDF.

members

Sell what you design

Your designs export as an editable Word file, a print-sharp vector chart and a shop-ready image — yours to sell, anywhere, with no fee to us.

members
Keep your place

Pattern tracker

Tick off each row, count stitches in groups of 10, 15, 20 or 25, and look back at earlier rows without losing your place.

members

A blanket chart that fills in

As you work, the stitches you’ve made fill in and what’s ahead fades back, in the order your hands work it — left-handed included.

members

Stitch markers

Drop a colored marker, with a short note if you like, and see it on the chart as you work.

members

Work to a length

For a piece worked to a measurement, log what it measures and it estimates how many rows are left and when to measure again.

members

Your yarn, your size

Pick a different yarn or hook for a pattern and it scales the pattern’s stated size and yardage to match — and says so when your hook is outside the usual range for that yarn.

members

Frogging never costs you

Your lifetime stitch count only goes up. Rip out a row and those stitches still count, and redoing it counts again — that was real work too.

Our story

Made by a family who loves fiber.

Crochet Bobble is a Rush Family Fiber project — built to put everything a crocheter juggles into one place that works when the signal doesn’t.

It started with a notebook, a camera roll and four apps that did not talk to each other. What yarn is in the cupboard. Which row you were on three weeks ago. How much a blanket will actually take. Whether that photo would even work as a chart.

None of that is hard on its own. All of it is easier in one place — so we built the thing we wanted: your stash, your projects, your charts and your own designs, with the counter that keeps counting when the bars run out.

It's made for real hands, too. Left-handed? Everything mirrors. On the couch with no signal? It works offline. And the lessons half, Stitch School, is still on its way for anyone who wants to start at the very beginning.

Patient

No rushing, no shame. Repeat a lesson as many times as you like.

Forgiving

Pull a stitch back out and try again — that's just part of it.

For every hand

Right or left, the app mirrors to match how you crochet.

Yours to keep

Your projects and progress are saved to your account and backed up automatically, so they’re there on every device you sign in on.

Meet Bobble

Your coach through the whole journey. He cheers you on, explains the tricky bits, and never once sighs when you frog a row and start over. He's the friend who's just a few stitches ahead of you — and genuinely happy you're here.

Come make something with us.

We open the doors November 24 in the US — get on the list.

Before you start

Questions, answered.

The questions people ask most, whether you’re here for the tools today or waiting on the lessons. Still stuck? The contact page is right there.

When does Crochet Bobble launch?

We open on Tuesday, November 24, for people in the United States — the final stitches are going in now. Join the waitlist and you'll be the first to know the day it opens, with founding-member perks for early sign-ups.

Do I need to know how to crochet already?

Right now, yes — the toolbox is built for people who already have yarn in their hands: your stash, your counters, your charts and your own designs. The lessons half, Stitch School, is still being built, and you can join that list separately.

What do I need to get started?

Whatever you already own. There is no kit to buy and nothing is written for one hook size — you tell it your yarn and hook and it works from those. If you want to try the photo blanket maker on day one, have a photo you love ready: good light, a plain background, a few strong colors.

I'm left-handed — will this work for me?

Yes. Set your handedness once, and every lesson illustration and pattern chart mirrors to match. What you see on screen is exactly what your hands do.

Does it work on my phone?

It's built for your phone first. Add it to your home screen and it behaves like a real app — including offline, so your patterns and your row counter keep working with no signal.

Can I use it on a computer too?

Absolutely. It works in any modern browser on desktop or tablet, and your progress follows your account across devices.

What if I get stuck on a stitch?

Every stitch has its own reference page with the chart symbol, what it does, and how it is written in both US and UK terms — free, and searchable. Frogging (pulling it out) is always allowed; your stitch count keeps everything your hands have made either way.

How much does it cost?

The stash, the counters, the shopping list and the stitch reference are free forever. One plan opens the studios — photo blankets, the pattern builder, charts and PDFs — and it will include Stitch School when that opens, at no extra cost. See the pricing page.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every new account gets two weeks of the full membership free, with no card needed. When it ends, the toolbox stays free and your projects stay put.

Does my blanket photo leave my phone?

No. The photo is turned into a chart right on your phone, and only the chart is saved to your account — the photo itself is never uploaded. Your chart and your progress are backed up, so they’re there on any device you sign in on.
